Trump Vindicated: California's Largest Newspaper Concedes President's Plan to 'Turn Water Back On' is Working

“Photo of beautiful water flow that I just opened in California... Everybody should be happy about this long fought Victory!"

Donald Trump can claim “I told you so.”

While the Resistance Media desperately tried to paint the Trump administration’s competent leadership as “chaotic,” the winning keeps coming so fast and furious that even California’s largest newspaper, the ultra-liberal L.A. Times, can no longer deny it.

As explained previously at the Becker Brief, the Army Corps of Engineers has been actively working in the Golden State to restore vital infrastructure and to aid in the massive relief effort that is underway to help the state recover from the devastating L.A. wildfires.

Trump’s executive order called upon his authority as the Commander-in-Chief —invoking federal agencies like the Department of Defense, the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Homeland Security — to press forward with a whole-of-government approach to getting California’s wildfires under control, while ensuring that such disasters will be better prevented and contained in the future.

President Trump turned to social media to inform the public that he was invoking his emergency powers to get the water back flowing again.

“The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!” Trump posted.

However, the California media instantly bridled at Donald Trump’s characterization of his sweeping efforts in the state, particularly his boast that he sent in “the military” to turn the water back on.

California’s Department of Water Resources also denied that Trump had sent the “military in" — a distinction without a difference, since the Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) is part of the U.S. military.

Now, the L.A. Times is conceding that President Trump’s efforts are working.

Read it and weep, liberals.
